EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The Fresno Regional Workforce Development Board (FRWDB) consists of City and County members who serve in the following areas: education, government, labor, economic development, and private sector. One elected official from the Fresno City Council is appointed by the Mayor of Fresno. Currently, Council President Mike Karbassi fills this role. The Mayor's Office is appointing Councilmember Tyler Maxwell (District 4) to replace Council President Karbassi. The term of Councilmember Maxwell's appointment will conclude at the completion of his term on the Fresno City Council, or until a replacement is appointed, whichever occurs first.
