EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The Residency Act was amended to remove repetitive language under Article VI and to add a "California State issued Identification card" to Article VI number 2. BACKGROUND The City Attorney has reviewed and approved to form. These changes will allow staff in the City Clerk's Office to process candidates and incumbent Council Members residency more easily.
