EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Assign roles and responsibilities in relation to assisting the Youth Jobs Task Force with tasks needed to complete the task force's goals, including, but not limited to survey and data collection. BACKGROUND In 2017 and 2018, the Fresno Youth Commission worked on a resolution to propose the creation of a Youth Jobs Task Force to the Fresno City Council. The purpose of the task force would be to study and provide recommendations to City Council in relation to providing employment opportunities to youth in the City of Fresno. On January 30, 2018, the Fresno Youth Commission approved a Youth Jobs Task Force resolution to present to City Council. On March 1, 2018, the Fresno City Council approved the Commission's recommendations and officially established the Youth Jobs Task Force.
