(Subject to Mayor's Veto) ..Body RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends Council adopt the 4th Amendment to Position Authorization Resolution No. 2021-160 authorizing the addition of one full-time position to the Council District 7 Office Division. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The proposed amendment will add one full-time position to the Council District 7 Office Division. BACKGROUND Council District 7 Office Division requires an additional, full-time staff member for operational purposes. ENVIRONMENTAL FINDINGS This is not a "project" for the purpose of CEQA pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378. LOCAL PREFERENCE The City's Local Preference Ordinance (FMC 4-108) does not apply - this is not a purchase of services, materials, supplies or equipment, or a competitive bidding solicitation. FISCAL IMPACT There is no impact to the General Fund as District 7 will use existing, allocated funds to fund this position.
