REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL February 16, 2017 FROM: GARRY BREDEFELD, Councilmember for District 6 City Council Offices SUBJECT ..Title BILL - (For introduction) - Amending Resolution No. 2004-88 relating to reimbursement of expenses for elected officials. ..Body RECOMMENDATION Approve a bill amending Ordinance No. 2004-88 to allow a flat monthly stipend for vehicle and general and miscellaneous expense allowances. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Ordinance No. 2004-88 expressly allows for a monthly allowance for vehicle usage and general and miscellaneous expenses in accordance with Exhibit A attached thereto. This ordinance will amend Ordinance No. 2004-88 to allow the election of a flat monthly stipend for vehicle and general and miscellaneous expense allowances.
