No action is requested; the item is informational only. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY In April of 2017 the City of Fresno amended the 2015-2023 Housing Element; a state-mandated planning document which provides a coordinated and comprehensive strategy for promoting the production of safe, decent and affordable housing for all community residents. As part of implementing Program 3 of the Housing Element, the City is required to hold a public hearing on its Housing Element Annual Progress Report to update the public on the City's progress on housing objectives and programs. The Annual Progress Report is submitted to the State Department of Housing and Community Development on April 1 of each year.
