RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends Council adopt the 45th Amendment to the Annual Appropriation Resolution No.2024-122 Appropriating $250,000 to City Attorney/Code Department.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Pursuant to the request from Council during the February 13, 2025 Mid Year Budget Presentation, Staff proposes to increase appropriations within the City Attorney/Code Department by $250,000 from FY24 General Fund Carryover to provide additional funding for the Eviction Protection Program (EPP). Staff will return at a future meeting with a proposal to appropriate an additional $250,000 utilizing Homeless/Housing funds.
