(Requires Five Affirmative Votes) (Subject to Mayor's Veto) ..Body RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends Council adopt the 62nd Amendment to the Annual Appropriation Resolution No.2024-122 Appropriating $100,000 to the General City Purpose Department. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The Metropolitan Museum Fund houses revenues and expenditures associated with the City-owned property at 1515 Van Ness Ave. Additional funds are required in the current fiscal year for routine expenditures including utilities and property maintenance. BACKGROUND Under the terms of the City lease agreement for the property located at 1515 Van Ness Ave., the City is responsible for janitorial, property maintenance, and utilities. Expenses are recovered through lease payments made by tenants. Fiscal Year 2025 (FY 2025) revenues for total $682,555, while expenditures were appropriated at $346,700. Current year appropriations have been exhausted, and as such staff proposes additional appropriations from the fund's current balance to pay expenditures for the remainder of the fiscal year, including janitorial services, elevator and fire inspection services, and utilities. ENVIRONMENTAL FINDINGS By the definition provided in the California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines Section 15378 this item does not qualify as a "project" and is therefore exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act requirements. LOCAL PREFERENCE The local preference was not implemented because adoption of this resolution does not involve the bid or award of a construction or services agreement.
