REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL June 28, 2018 FROM: HENRY FIERRO, Interim Budget Manager Budget and Management Studies SUBJECT ..Title ***RESOLUTION - Council Adoption of the Fiscal Year 2018-2019 City of Fresno Budget including the Annual Appropriations Resolution (Subject to Mayor's Veto) ..Body RECOMMENDATION It is recommended that the Council approve the attached documents establishing the Fiscal Year (FY) 2018-2019 City of Fresno budget. BACKGROUND On May 23, 2018, the Mayor presented each Councilmember with a copy of the Mayor's FY 2018-2019 Proposed Budget for the City of Fresno. The public hearings on the budget began on June 5, 2018, and continued through June 19, 2018. The documents presented are based on the Mayor's Proposed Budget and have been updated to reflect the approval of motions by the City Council up through June 21, 2018. The Mayor may approve or veto all or any portion of the budget or request reconsideration from Council. If any portion of the budget is vetoed by the Mayor it will be brought back to the Council for override consideration. FISCAL IMPACT By approving the attached documents the Council will adopt the FY 2018-2019 City of Fresno budget. Attachment: 19 AAR Resolution
