EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The Youth Commission has determined to purchase t-shirts and business cards for the Commissioners and staff in order to promote cohesiveness and professionalism. BACKGROUND At the Commission meeting of December 21, 2018, Chair Jauregui asked if the Commissioners could obtain Youth Commission t-shirts and business cards. The commissioners discussed and through consensus appointed 2nd Vice Chair Palma to a committee in order for her to research vendors and designs for the t-shirts and business cards. 2nd Vice Chair Palma was tasked with presenting a design for the t-shirts and business cards to the Commission for approval. At the June 7, 2019 Fresno Youth Commission meeting, this item was tabled due to time constraints. ENVIRONMENTAL FINDINGS By the definition provided in the California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines Section 15378 this item does not qualify as a "project" and is therefore exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act requirements. LOCAL PREFERENCE A local firm will be selected to provide services. FISCAL IMPACT Appropriations for this project will be made from the Youth Commission's annual budget.
