- Conditional Use Permit Application No. P26-00118 was filed by Bhupendar Brar, on behalf of Carpe Diem Holdings, LLC, and pertains to approximately 1.01 acres of property located at the southwest corner of East Dakota and North Cedar Avenues (4188 East Dakota Avenue, APN: 437-090-54). The applicant requests the authorization to establish a grocery and liquor store in an approximately 4,000 square-foot commercial tenant suite and establishment of a Type 21 (Off-Sale General) ABC License to allow for the sale of beer, wine and distilled spirits for off-site consumption. Meeting disruption policy

Meetings are conducted so everyone — in the room and watching or calling in remotely — can take part. A person who disrupts a meeting in person may be removed after a warning. Under California SB 707, if a service disruption within the City’s control cuts off the public’s ability to participate remotely, the body takes no further action on agenda items and recesses for at least one hour while staff make a good-faith effort to restore access; the meeting resumes only once remote access is back.
