- Conditional Use Permit No. P23-01645 was submitted by Mohit Kumar on behalf of King Indian Restaurant and pertaining to an existing restaurant and tenant space on a ±8.19 Acres parcel located at 6611 North Riverside Drive Suite 104, located west of North Riverside Drive, as part of the Marketplace at El Paseo commercial/retail center. The application requests authorization to apply for a new State of California Alcoholic Beverage Control Type 47 (On-Sale General – Eating Place – Beer, Wine, Distilled Spirits) License. The restaurant will operate from 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM Wednesday to Monday, and 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tuesdays, and alcohol will be served during these same hours. The parcel is zoned CR/UGM (Commercial Regional/Urban Growth Management). Meeting disruption policy

Meetings are conducted so everyone — in the room and watching or calling in remotely — can take part. A person who disrupts a meeting in person may be removed after a warning. Under California SB 707, if a service disruption within the City’s control cuts off the public’s ability to participate remotely, the body takes no further action on agenda items and recesses for at least one hour while staff make a good-faith effort to restore access; the meeting resumes only once remote access is back.
