- AProposed Single Family Residences with Second Dwelling Units
- Location: 712 N Echo Ave Three proposed single family residences with detached second dwelling units to be developed on the vacant property noted above. The project was considered by the committee on November 11, 2020. The Committee took no action and directed the applicant to revise the garages on the main residences to comply with adopted design guidelines. - BProposed Multi-family Residential Development
- Location: 971 E Alhambra Ave Development Permit Application No. P19-05790 pertains to 0.74 acres of vacant property locate on the northwest corner of North Van Ness and East Alhambra Avenues. The subject application proposes an 18-unit, gated multiple family apartment complex. The subject property is zoned CMS (Commercial Main Street). This item was considered by the committee on January 14, 2020. The committee approved the site plan and project. However the committee requested the applicant to return with revised elevation exhibits. The item returned on February 11, 2020 and again on March 10, 2020. Members from the public that were in attendance presented examples and recommendations for the committee and the applicant to consider. On March 10, the committee took no action and requested the applicant to return w/ revised exhibits. - VINEW MATTERS – New Matters are items that will be reviewed by the Committee and which may be subject to a vote of the Committee. Applicants and/or their representatives are asked to be in attendance to discuss these projects.

- VIICOMMITTEE CONSULTATION AND UNSCHEDULED MATTERS- Committee Consultation Items and unscheduled matters are items that the general public can address to the Committee in order to request input on a proposed project with no formal recommendations, or to provide general information about projects and events in the Tower District. However, the Committee cannot take formal action on these items. (Unscheduled Items shall each be limited to five minutes.)

Email clerk@fresno.gov with the meeting date and item number by 9:00 a.m. the day before the meeting. Comments received are distributed to members and entered into the record.
Accommodations & language access
Under California SB 707, agendas and participation instructions are published in every applicable language for the meeting, and free interpretation is provided at the meeting on request. Applicable languages currently include Spanish, Hmong, and Punjabi. Meeting disruption policy

Meetings are conducted so everyone — in the room and watching or calling in remotely — can take part. A person who disrupts a meeting in person may be removed after a warning. Under California SB 707, if a service disruption within the City’s control cuts off the public’s ability to participate remotely, the body takes no further action on agenda items and recesses for at least one hour while staff make a good-faith effort to restore access; the meeting resumes only once remote access is back.
