- A971 E Alhambra
- Development Permit Application No. P19-05790 pertains to 0.74 acres of vacant property locate on the northwest corner of North Van Ness and East Alhambra Avenues. The subject application proposes an 18-unit, gated multiple family apartment complex. The subject property is zoned CMS (Commercial Main Street). This item was considered by the committee on January 14, 2019. The committee approved the site plan and project. However the committee requested the applicant to return with revised elevation exhibits. The item returned on February 11th with two elevation alternatives. One of the alternatives proposed a faux molded door on the street facing faced and a functional door on the side of the unit. The applicant was not in attendance for the February 11th meeting and the committee did not take action. The applicant now proposes only one elevation that includes a functional door that faces the street frontage.

Meeting disruption policy

Meetings are conducted so everyone — in the room and watching or calling in remotely — can take part. A person who disrupts a meeting in person may be removed after a warning. Under California SB 707, if a service disruption within the City’s control cuts off the public’s ability to participate remotely, the body takes no further action on agenda items and recesses for at least one hour while staff make a good-faith effort to restore access; the meeting resumes only once remote access is back.
