- Board Counsel, Dan McCloskey, was present and represented the Board. Acting Secretary Designee, Stephanie Hernandez, was also present.
- At 9:03am the Board convened into Closed Session
Meeting & participation information
Deputy City Attorney III, Stephanie Snyder, and City Controller, Mike Lima, were present on behalf of the Appointing Authority. Labor Representative, Tony Silva, and the Appellant were also present. Labor Representative, Tony Silva, requested a continuance in the matter due to unforeseen illness of the Appellant's Representative, Attorney at Law, Heather Phillips, with Goyette and Associates, Inc. At 9:05am the Board convened into Executive Session to deliberate the matter. At 9:08am the Board reconvened into Closed Session. The Hearing on Appeal was rescheduled for January 28, 2019 with agreement from all parties present there will be no potential backpay from the effective date of November 27, 2018 to rescheduled date of January 28, 2019. At 9:10am the Board reconvened into Open Session and the decision of the Board was announced in accordance with the Brown Act.- There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 9:11am.
