In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the City provides reasonable accommodations on request — including assistive listening devices, large-print or Braille agendas, and sign-language interpreters. All meeting locations are wheelchair accessible.
Language access
Under California SB 707, agendas and participation instructions are published in every applicable language for the meeting, and free interpretation is provided at the meeting on request. Applicable languages currently include Spanish, Hmong, and Punjabi.
Captioning
Real-time captions are available in English and Spanish during the live meeting through Wordly (select your language). American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation is provided live on the Zoom feed. Recordings retain captions for later viewing.
How to request
Contact the City Clerk at (559) 621-7650 or cityclerk@fresno.gov at least three business days before the meeting so arrangements can be made. Requests with shorter notice will be honored whenever possible.
